King Dedede vs Princess Bubblegum

"Life is sweet when you're surrounded by candy-coated dreams". 

For both I'll be using Canon Material so anything stated canon is going to be used.

For Dedede this includes all Mainline Kirby Games but stuff such as Side Content/Mini Games will not be used as the series director says "that everything is not connected" however I will use feats and abilities from them as they are meant to show what the characters can do outside of the games so they are more over what if scenarios meaning there are not connected but it shows what else the characters can do.Other stuff such as the Manga and Anime and will not be used. 

For Princess Bubblegum well use the Show, any spin off such as Distant Land, Shorts and any Comic that doesn't take place in an alternative Universe. Also episodes that were stated non-canon will not be used such as "A Glitch is a Glitch" and the Pilot Episode will not be used. Video Games such "The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom" and "Finn and Jake Investigation" aren't being used and any IOS games However "Explore the Dungeon because I DON'T KNOW!" are considered canon and will be used.

Also no Crossover so no Smash scaling and no Mulitversus or Lego Dimensions scaling

For this Fight we'll be using both of their armies but only their Minions so no Meta Knight or Marceline

Summary

King Dedede

The self proclaimed King of Dreamland



King Dedede was the ruler of Dream Land he was very selfish as he stole all the food from Dream Land only to be stopped by Kirby. After he was defeated by Kirby he would break the Star Rod for evil purposes presumably making the creatures which lived on Dream Land unable to dream. Suspecting that the King was up to no good Kirby would question him but Dedede wouldn't hesitate to answer and tell him that he did break the Star Rod and he gave the pieces of the rod to his friends but before explaining his full side Kirby stormed off to retrieve the pieces. After Kirby fixed the Rod Dedede tries to stop him but fails and Kirby ends up summoning Nightmare the reason why Dedede broke the rod in the first place to keep the monster away. After Kirby releases Nightmare Kirby was thrown by Dedede to keep up with him and also to take him down. After Kirby defeated Nightmare Dedede would start to respect Kirby and start a friendly rivalry but he would still be jealous of him and whenever he needed help Dedede would assist Kirby.

Princess Bubblegum

Princess Bubblegum the ruler of the Candy Kingdom


Princess Bonnibel Bubblegum was created by The Mother Gum years after the Mushroom War. She would escape into the land of Ooo alongside her brother Neddy. Alongside her brother they would live near a Radioactive river to avoid feeling lonely she would create a Family of gum people Uncle Gumbald, Aunt Lolly and Cousin Chicle. One day Gumbald revealed his plans to built a Candy City but Bonnie didn't like the Idea and would create Lake butterscotch where her Uncle wanted to built his City now mad Gumbald along with Lolly Chicle would try get rid of Bonnie. Gumbald would create a serum called Dum-Dum Serum which transform anyone into docile and simple minded candy after sending Bonnie on a date with Mr.Cream Puff who was created by Gumbald he would use it on Lolly and Chicle after Bonnie would return Gumbald would try to ue it against Bonnie only to fail and spill the serum onto himself turning himself into a punch bowl. Bonnie decided to leave Gumbald, Lolly and Chicle the way they were and she would declare herself as their Princess. Bonnie would use it on any other Candy person to prevent something like that however Bonnie shows regret in doing so as most of them were intelligent and would obey her.
Afterwards she would create her Kingdom called The Candy Kingdom.

Weapons and Equipment

Wooden Mallet

a giant wooden mallet that can also explode.

Bluster Hammer


By imbuing his Hammer with Wind Dedede can create whirlwinds and can spin fast enough to create tornados.

Splash Hammer


with the Splash Hammer Dedede can create balls of water and waves.


Sizzle Hammer


with the Sizzle Hammer Dedede can burn his enemies into crisp and his attacks become more explosive.

Blizzard Hammer


The Blizzard Hammer allows him to create Icecyles out of the ground and freeze enemies.

Zap Hammer


The Zap Hammer allows Dedede to summon Lightning.


Mechanical Hammer


a upgraded version of Dedede's Hammer which can fire rockets, sends out electricity and shoot fire.

Mask


Dedede's mask which he utilizes alongside his Mechanical Hammer. Its stated to have Mighty Power.


Princess Bubblegum

Crown


Princess Bubblegum's Crown which could protect her from the Lich's mind control. It also can hear her voice being called out.

Ball Blam Burgleber


a gun that shoots out green balls that cause massive explosion.

Electrode Gun


a Gun that was made to rescue Finn and Jake which can shoot electricity.

The Gaunlet of the Hero

The Gaunlet of the Hero was a mythical weapon that was given to Princess Bubblegum after Billy retired. It is the only weapon capable of harming the Lich it fires an extremely powerfull energy blast.

Fire Resistant Suit


A suit that can has Grenades that can shoot out Electricity, shoot Rockets, be sorounded with a forcefield which can deflect attacks and it can turn PB Invisible. Did I also mention its Fireproof.

Multi-Mode Gun


The Multi-Mode gun has like the name amplies many function from Paralizing anyone hiting it, Transmutate anything into Batteries, make another gun, 

Shield Detector


A Device which can allow Invisible shields be visible.

King Dedede

Can inhale people just like Kirby. Can also inhale enemies, food and also stuff such as bombs.

 Revenge Dedede

after getting controlled by Taranza his clothes would turn purple and he would become more agressive. After being set free he would be able to transform into this form without Taranza controlling him. This form gives him some abilities.

  • Transformation: can Transform into Revenge Dedede off-screen.
  • Attack Reflection: could reflect attack with his weapons such as Axe and Hammer.
  • Size Manipulation: by using an Sparking Star he can transform into an Giant.

    • Buff Dedede

    After using the Jamba Heart Dedede becomes bigger and stronger.


    Ghost Dedede


    Dedede is fucking dead but he gets new abilities tho... so here are they listed.
    • Incorporeality: as a Ghost has no physical form.
    • Ressurection and Life Absorption: as a Ghost he can absorb Life energy to come back to Life.
    • Immortality (Type 7/Undead): he is dead can't interract with anything.
    • Self-Sustenance (Type 2 and 3): as a Ghost doesn't need to eat or sleep.
    • Non-Physical Interreaction: can be touched or attacked whilst being a Ghost.
    • Invisibility and Intagibility: is Invisible and can go through most objects.
    • Regeneration (Low-Godly): via absorbing Life of an enemy.

    Dedede has a Giant army so here is a list of them.

    Bandana Waddle Dee


    Bandana Waddle Dee isn't your average Waddle he is Dedede's second in command having accompanied The King many times alongside Kirby and Meta Knight. Due to his status as second in command alot of the other Dedede's goons see him as a Legends.

    Bonkers

    Bonkers is a gorilla who utilizes an giant Hammer. He can shatter rocks by swinging his Hammer around and he can throw Combustable Coconuts, he can create fire and fly around by using his Hammer.  He also has many transformations such as Bonker EX and Super Bonkers.

    Whispy Woods


    Whispy Woods also known as the King of The Forest. He can throw apples in his Ex Form these apples become poisonous he can also drop enemies such as Waddle Dee's, Gordos and other enemies and explosives. He can grow in size and be taller, expand the size of the things he drops. He can also come out the Ground to fight, He can create small Torando's and inhale enemies.

    Kracko

    Kracko is a Cloud that can fire of Lightning,can create spike out of his body,can summon enemies such as starmen and Gordos, can use other clouds to enlargen himself and create storms.

    Mr.Frosty

    Mr. Frosty is a Walrus that can manipulate Ice thats it he doesn't have anything outside that he has a great booty tho


    Waddle Dee
    The cute and cuddly Waddle Dee's are the basic troops of King Dedede's army they can in all shapes and sizes using all kinds of weapons ranging from Parasols to spears.
    Here's a list of Waddle Dee variations

    • Big Waddle Dee's: Big version of a Waddle Dee.
    • Parasol Waddle Dee: These Waddle Dee's come equiped with a Parasol with enables them to Glide through the air.
    • Spear Waddle Dee's: These Waddle Dee's are equipped with Spears.
    • Walker Waddle Dee: Walker Waddle Dee are Waddle Dee's who pilot a yellow mech which can shot rockets. There are also aerial counterparts who can bomb enemies from above.

    Waddle Doo

    The Waddle Doo's carry around Magic wand that shoot out Energy Beams.

    Gordo
    Gordo's are spikey balls that float around who ever touches in a world of Pain. Dedede can also use Gordo's to launch them with his Hammer towards his enemies.

    Knuckle Joe


    Knuckle Joe is a Martial artist that works for Dedede. He can perform spin kicks and other moves and even THE KAMEHAMEHA?!

    Wheelies

    Wheelies are small Wheels that can be ridden.


    Princess Bubblegum


    Princess Bubblegum's army is a large one so lets list them.

    Lady Rainicorn


    Lady Rainicorn is PB's companion and best friend. She mostly speaks Korean but has shown being able to speak and understand english. She can create Portals into the Crystal Dimension and shoot beams that can change the color the target that was hit.


    Root Beer Guy


    also known as Captain of The Banana Guards Root Beer Guy commands the Army of Banana Guards.

    Banana Guards


    The Banana Guards are Candy People that are primary protection of the Candy Kingdom and Princess Bubblegum. They are usually seen using spears.

    500's

    These robotic version of the Banana Guards were never used. They have Jetpacks and flower shaped guns and Radars. they were never used however due to Jake throwing the Nigmare Juice which made everyone including PB fall asleep bringing them into Dream Realm.

    Colonel Candy



    Colonel Candy was formaly a soldier and the Captain of the Banana Guards now he's an veteran having fought in many battles including fighting in the Gum War.

    Gumball Guardian


    The Gumball Guardians were created by PB to protect the Kingdom. If they are serious they will prioritize defeating the enemy first but when they are friendly and childlike. They can manipulate time being able to freeze time when a royal promise is broken and time gets reversed when the broken promise is forgiven, sense Evil presences and see through disguises, shoot lasers, breath fire, shoot Bubbles, show Math questions and put people to sleep.

    Sir Rattleballs


    Sir Rattleball was created by Princess Bubblegum to protect the Candy Kingdom. He is very skilled having taught Finn Swordmanship.

    Swan


    Swan is one of Princess Bubblegums pets he can shoot laser out its mouth.

    The Morrow


    The Morrow is another one of PB's pets. Morrow can be called upon by just yelling. The Morrow can also pick up enemies and drop them.

    Goliad


    Goliad is a Candy Sphinx that was gonna be the new ruler of Candy Kingdom if PB was to ever die but fearing she would be corrupt she planned to kill him but due to her being able to read minds she rebelled against PB until Stormo and her got into a fight which ended by them both reading eachothers mind for all eternity. She can telekeneticaly move objects, reanimate dead beings and like mentioned read minds. 

    Stormo


    Stormo is a Candy Sphinx created by PB with the usage of Finn's DNA. Stormo has the same abilities as Goliad. He was created to keep check of Goliad.

    King Dedede is an Honorable Warrior but he has his flaws for example he is at times very clumsy and goofy. Another letdown is unlike Kirby he can't copy abilities by inhaling his enemies he needs an ally to enhance his weapon which can leave him wide open at times.

    His army is also not equally skilled meaning that one soldier might be less skilled or experienced as the other. They might also be weak to stuff such as Elemental attack such as fire, Ice and Electricity or they have specific weak points such as Kracko's eye.

    Princess Bubblegum


    Princess Bubblegum has her fault despite being a brilliant Inventor she is very pridefull and her self confidence blinds her consequences of her actions. Lumps could negate her elemental magic and negate its effects. Dum Dum Juice can also turn her into a docile and simple minded. Ice magic can also freeze her as other Candy Elementals can be frozen such as Chatsberry

    Her troops have their weaknesses the Banana Guards are incompetent, Gumball Guardians Heads are very fragile so if its hit they can be taken out for good and some of them have nothing special to offer.

    Kirby and friends have defeated many Villians throughout the years and as Kirby and Dedede are equals its reasonable to say that Dedede scales to these Villians.


    Land of Ooo Residents


    Princess Bubblegum has shown holding her own against Flame Princess who's fought the Ice King and The Ice King has fought against Finn and Jake numerous times so she scales to the main cast either through showings of her own or scaling off other characters

    Finn and Jake have fought the Lich so it would be reasonable to say that PB could also scale to the Lich as she's equal to others who can fight the Lich

    Princess Bubblegum scales to the Ice King and Flame Princess who can create storms coming out to 88 Gigatons of TNT and some of her weapons could likely damage the Lich I'm saying likely as the Lich destroyed the same Gaunlet with ease but as Finn and Jake also scale to The Lich she should scale to them with that said by scaling to the Lich she should be Multiversal+ which comes from Olgarog absorbing the Catalyst Comet which can cause the destruction of all of Existences but compared to King Dedede the Princess falls short as Dedede casually fights against Kirby who can crack Planet Popstar which comes out to Large Planet and even characters such as Bandana Waddle and Knuckle Joe can peform these feats and there are characters such as Galacta Knight who can cut through another dimension which is a 5D dimension. Strength goes to King Dedede

    Speed
    Speed wise both have quintafiable numbers if we go off those numbers PB would be 62.6 via Finn doing a full circle whilst going to Mars but Dedede would have him outclassed due to being able to steal all stars in Planet Popstar in a single night coming out to 16.44 Million times Lightspeed. However if we take the non-quintafiable numbers we'll have PB at Infinite speed because she scales to Ice King who can process an entire Universe but Dedede can be has the Princess beat due to fighting against Magolor who can travel through another dimension which beyond time and space putting him at Immesurable. This point also goes to King Dedede.

    Hax
    Both PB and King Dedede have similiar Hax Transmutation, Energy Manipulation, Attack Reflection and many more however Dedede can use most Hax just because he can do them without needing anything PB needs either her Elemental Form for stuff such as Transmutation or Reality Manipulation or alternatively she needs her Tech such as the Multi-Mode Gun which shoots a paralyzing beam or transmutates anyone into a Battery she doesn't have that at hand and by herself her Hax aren't that Impressive not to mention the invention can get destroyed or she could be disarmed as Dedede can steal items from enemies. Like in Bowser vs Eggman Eggman needs other mechs and inventions for his busted Hax's whilst Bowser has them at all times this is the same scenario. The only advantage PB has is Reality Manipulation in her Elemental Form which could "create and destroy as they wish" meaning she could just destroy Dedede and his Army. So due to having alot of good Haxs vs One OP Haxs ability so due to that I will give this category to both.

    But Resistances goes to Dedede as he's got resistance to some of PB's best Hax's such as Transmutation or Goliad and Stormo's Mind Manipulation. I decided to add this to Hax category as I didn't put a resistances category in the first Image.

    Army
    This one might be obvious as most of PB's army doesn't have anything good to offer however heavy hitters such as Gumball Guardians and Peppermint Buttler who have versatile abilities such as time stopping, putting people to sleep , leaving their bodies as souls, use dark magic and crystalize anyone thats those to alone Lady Rainicorn can create Portals and throw anyone in their leaving them there without knowing how to return back or Stormo and Goliad who can reanimate dead beings back to life. However they lack the stats to hurt either Dedede or his army like I mentioned most of PB's army is incompetent or doesn't have any noteable abilities whilst Dedede's armies top tiers such as Kracko and Bandana Waddle Dee have shown to be capable of keeping up with Kirby and performing same feats meaning they scale relative to them and most of them also possess abilities which can take care of PB's army in an instant such as Mr.Frosty who can freeze most of his enemies. So whilst one has superior abilities the other army have unique abilites as well and the stat advantage Dedede's army has more ways than not either they beat them through Hax such as freezing or create Tornadoes to blow them away or just blitz and oneshot them. There also the fact that most of them have resistances to some of the Candy Kingdoms abilities such as PB's Transmutation as long as any Star ally can survive in a pot which transmutates anyone in it into food. so this point goes to Dedede's army.

    Looking at the result Dedede has most of the advantages and due to Dedede being stronger, faster, better Hax in base and for having an better army.

    • PB has to break a royal promise to use Time Manipulation

    • could be wished out of existence by PB's Reality Manipulation
    • is not as smart
    • Peppermint Buttler can interact with his Ghost Form by leaving his Body
    • Army doesn't have as versatile abilities as PB's army
    • Has to die to be in his Ghost Form
    • He's wide open if he wants to get a ability from an Star ally
    • Has no resistance to Crystilazation
    • PB Body Control can allow her to strech back lost limbs
    • PB can resist being transmutated into a Star in her Elemental Form
    • vulnerable to Sleep Manipulation

    • Reality Manipulation can be used to wish Dedede out of existence
    • Army has more versatile abilities such as BFR, Time Manipulation, Mind Manipulation, Sleep Inducement and much more
    • Multi-Mode Gun can turn Dedede's army into Batteries
    • Can crystalize all of Dedede's army including Dedede
    • Peppermint Buttler can leave his Body and interract with Dedede's Ghost Form
    • Goliad and Stormo can bring back dead alies 
    • can strech herself new limbs if she losses any
    • Knows Turkish (in German version)

    Disadvantages

    • Is to weak to hurt Dedede
    • Too slow
    • Can be killed before transforming into her Elemental Form
    • Army is to slow and weak despite their busted Hax
    • Needs break royal promise to let the Guardians use their Time Stop
    • No resistances to Ice Manipulation
    • Most Inventions are useless
    • Dedede can resist Transmutation and anyone who is a Star ally as they share abilities
    • Toon Force makes Dedede har to kill
    • Dedede can grow into the size of her Elemental Form
    • Most of her busted Hax require better forms or Inventions
    • Banana Guards are incompotent and most have nothing special to offer

    Conclusion

    Whilst Princess Bubblegum has alot of Hax which can put down Dedede and his Army they require either a stronger form, Inventions or specific stuff to be done (break Royal Promise)  and Dedede can easily put the Princess down more times then not along with his strongest Minions being able to easily clear through all of PB's army meaning she'll be overwhelmed by Dedede and his Army with that being said the Winner is
